Our magnolia wall

I love this little corner of our room. The magnolia photos were taken a couple of years ago in grandma dianne's back garden, before they cut down the magnolia tree.
I love the little white shelf too with our leatherette funky initials, a really loving photo of James + I, and all kinds of little creations the kids have made + gradually snuck on there too!

Little Miss Independent peeling a carrot

I don't know how it happened, but in about 4 months from now, Millie will be 4 PG.
She is just so old + sensible it takes my breath away, literally. Take this evening at dinner.
The kids were all sitting around eating their chocolate fromage frais while I was having a boring 70 cal yoghurt. Millie came over to me to see what I was eating and I must have said something ridiculous like "mummy is eating a plain, boring, healthy yoghurt" in a poor attempt to avoid having to share.
Millie sized me up and then asked me "why do u eat a healthy yoghurt but you let your children eat unhealthy?"!!!t

Mobile blogging is back!!!!

I have not been able to mobile blog for the last couple of weeks which has been really annoying. At last, after a total of 4 hours on the phone to AT+T, we are back in business.
It has been suggested that it is far more interesting to hear stories of BAD things the kids have said + done, rather than just all the good stuff.
Point taken.
Will just have to wait for some bad behavior....shouldn't be long :)

It's almost November & i don't remember the last time I sat down and actually wrote something on the blog, rather than just posting photos...probably some time in July
Life has just been lik a whirlwind on a treadmill since the summer but things are finally settling down and we are trying to remember what our routine used to be!
Most importantly, we are all trying to get back in to being ACTIVE!

Yoav is back at karate again, where he finally got his patch for his karate uniform. Elinoa had to give up karate :( because she now has school until 4:30 and doesn't get back in time for the class. So, this week she started kick boxing, which is so much fun & such good exercise, i wish i could join her class!
