A little bit of fun
for Yoav’s Bar Mitzvah - Oopstagram
Seeing as we are such
a photo-obsessed family, we would like to add something cool and photo themed
to Yoav's bar mitzvah this summer. This is where you come in. We invite
you to use the photo app 'Instagram' and tag your images on your Smart phones
throughout the course of the night so that you can share your images with the
rest of our guests and also have your pictures printed as fridge magnets.
You will also see the
images displayed on a screen in the form of a slideshow created by you, our
guests! Even the comments that you add to your images will be displayed!
How cool is that?! The more images you take and tag, the more the slideshow
will grow throughout the course of the evening.

Confused? its really
not all that complicated but for our technologically-challenged guests and for
those who have never heard the word "instagram" or those who haven’t
understood anything that was said just now , dont worry , there will be someone
walking around during the Bar Mitzvah who will be able to assist you or take
your pictures for you if you don't have a Smart phone :)
How does it work?
1. You simply take a
picture and label or 'tag' it in the Instagram app with the following tag: #yoav13
It must have the hash
tag before the word 'yoav' in order for the tagging to work.
2. Over the course of
the night you, will be given magnets of the pictures you tagged and uploaded by
the wonderful people at Oopstagram (the clever people who's idea this is!)
3. Whoever wants to is
welcome to upload and tag relevant pictures leading up to the day of the Bar
Mitzvah too, which is an especially nice idea for those of you who can't attend
and want to send Yoav a special message or for Yoav's friends who want to send
him something cool that he will see on the screen when he gets to the hall on
the evening.
This is your
opportunity to bring out the artist/comedian/photographer in you! Get creative!
Use the many apps available on your Smart phones to create collages, photos
with messages, special effects, cartoons etc.
